My nan inspired me to become an accountant. She worked in accounts and always said ‘make sure you reckon up’, which always stuck with me. I love working with numbers and problem solving so accountancy seemed a good fit.
So, as a fresh-faced 16-year-old, I embarked on my career at a small practice where I studied as an apprentice for my AAT.
