Let’s talk about the job
After a proper induction to the business, a personal development plan will be drawn up for you. It will outline each of the steps you’ll need to take to realise your ambitions and goals as a Payroll Administrator. Life will be fast-paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
Your typical day will involve:
- Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver
- Complete start to finish payrolls, and managing your own portfolio of clients
- Managing and processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls
- Collating and actioning all calculations concerning additions and deductions to gross pay (overtime, pay increases, PAYE, AE Pensions, attachments of earnings)
- Inputting, checking and processing new starters and leavers for our clients
- Collating and actioning statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, holidays)
- Producing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly wage slips
- Checking and auditing payrolls to make sure regulations are met

- You’ll preferably have at least two year's experience working in an accountancy practice/bureau
- You’ll have experience managing multiple clients and payrolls
- You’ll have Sage 50 Cloud Payroll experience (basic knowledge of Xero Payroll would be advantageous)
- You’ll have experience in identifying, investigating and resolving discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
- You’ll have great organisational and time management skills, and be used to working to deadlines
- You’ll love getting to know people and cultivating long-lasting relationships
- You’ll be motivated to deliver extraordinary service and will embrace our “Proven Process”
- You’ll have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small
