Ambition Academy launched for aspiring managers

We always want to make sure we do whatever possible to help them reach their true potential and offer opportunities to learn and progress – and after the success of our Leadership and Management Academy, we’re excited to announce that we have now launched our brand new Ambition Academy!

The aim of the course is to provide aspiring managers with a toolkit to take their career to the next level and with four amazing trainers on board, we’re confident this will be achieved. Our experts delivering the programme for this year’s cohort include Michael Quigley from Kataholos, Mac Macdonald from LAPD Solutions, Simon Osbourne from SO Coach and Mike Grocott from Intercog.

Learning and Development Coordinator, Chris Rawlinson said “We’ve had some fantastic feedback from our Leadership and Management Academy so far, so it’s great to launch yet another academy to develop leadership skills across the Group. Helping our team achieve their ambitions is extremely important, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they take away from this.”

Team members from across the Great Things Together Group have been enrolled, which is made up of DJH Mitten Clarke, Morris & CoWealth Experts,Signature Financial Services and Capital Allowance Review Service. 

The class of 2022 includes a range of accountants, auditors, administrators and more. From DJH Mitten Clarke we have Assistant Client Managers Beckie Wright and Ellie Willetts, Senior Accountant Kirsty Williamson, Senior Auditor Andy Pickerill, Head of Bookkeeping and Cloud Aimee Calcott and Head of Administration Paul Colclough. From Morris and Co we have Bookkeeper Hannah Durney, Supervising Accountant Kate Stockton, VAT Supervisor Nicky Roberts and Assistant Manager Ryan Beacall. Joining the DJH Mitten Clarke and Moco teams, we also have Senior Paraplanner Rachel Challenor from Wealth Experts, CARS Operations Manager Natasha Greening and Office Manager from Signature Sophie Lovatt.

Over the course of the next few months, the team will be learning all about building relationships, how to have difficult conversations, completing training in mental health and much more. After the first session with Michael on setting yourself up for success, Assistant Client Manager, Beckie Wright said “The session was incredibly insightful and I’ve already started using some of Michael’s strategies within our team. I can’t wait for our next session!”
