We’re on the up in our new City Centre Manchester office

Our Manchester team has relocated to a brand-new office space after a £200,000 refurbishment project.

Don’t worry, we’re still in the iconic St George’s House, on Peter Street, but we’ve moved on up to the sixth floor, offering our team a fantastic new space to collaborate, as well as brilliant views of Manchester.

The move comes following two years of solid growth in the North West, following the acquisition of Lloyd Piggott, and the move has created space to support our future growth ambitions with over 40+ desks.

Whilst discussing the vision behind our relocation and refurbishment of the office, Scott Heath, our Chief Executive Officer said, “The environment our team work in is extremely important. Historically as a Group, we’ve always prioritised investing in the space and technology of our offices, with this developing significantly since Covid.

“The expectation on office space has changed dramatically, so it was key that we made sure the needs of our team were met and then some. We’ve introduced sound-proofed pods which are perfect for Zoom meetings and 1-2-1s, whilst still feeling like part of the office, due to the glass windows and doors.”

Scott continued, “The design here in Manchester has the same feel to our other offices, providing a great light and contemporary break-away space for lunch, team socials and client events.”

Our Manchester team is led by Executive Director, Sue Redmond, who commented, “We now have a really welcoming space for everybody who walks through the door. We’ve already had really positive feedback from clients, and we’re really proud to have created a space that fits with the expectations of a city centre office.”

Outlining the impact that the new space has had on our team, Sue commented, “We’ve considered everything our team need to work at their best so now have various spaces that can be used for private conversations, undisturbed meetings and social catch ups in our large break out space. When offering a hybrid working approach, it’s important that we can come together in a fantastic environment to deliver a great service and experience for our clients. It’s also been quite special to see our vision for the new office come to life, such as our break-out space being called The Hive, an ode to the iconic Manchester bee.”

This news caps a busy couple of months for our business after recently acquiring Leeds based accountancy firm Novis & Co, as well Cheshire based Morris & Co taking the DJH Mitten Clarke name and becoming the Chester office for the group, following their acquisition in 2021.
