The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, today announced that the government will significantly increase and broaden its winter support schemes to protect jobs across the UK. In recognition of the challenging times ahead, this update sees:

  • Extra help for open businesses experiencing significant difficulty.
  • Increased grants for the self-employed.
  • Business grants expanded to cover the most affected sectors in high-alert level areas.
