This month has been an exciting time for the Great Things Together Group with our inaugural Leadership & Management Academy meeting for the first time.

Delivered by LaPD Solutions, the academy is part of our goal to provide our ambitious team with the opportunities to learn and progress so that they can reach their full potential.

Each year, a new cohort will be enrolled from across the Great Things Together Group, which is made up of DJH Mitten Clarke Stoke and Manchester offices, Morris & Co, and Wealth Experts, on to the academy,

James Beardmore, Operations Director, said “Developing leadership skills is a key element as you progress in your career and we wanted to be able to provide an opportunity to nurture these skills in the future leaders of this business. It’s been a very informative first session and it’s also great to be able to welcome members of the team from across the group for the first time”.

The class of 2021 is made up our DJH Mitten Clarke’s Client Services Managers Brian Malkin, Jake Llewellyn, Kara Ryan, Lucy Moult and Matthew Lawton; Senior Client Services Manager; Rebecca Thorley; Head of Payroll, Sylwia Tunnicliffe; Client Service Director, Chris Abbotts; Morris & Cos Associates, Martin Lanceley and Tom Slevin; Tax Adviser, Johnathan Jones; and Wealth Experts Financial Planner, Suzanne Shepherd.

Suzanne says “My main reason for enrolling in the academy is to discover more about the elements that go into a being strong leader. It’s beneficial to be sharing the academy journey with other members of the team from across the group as it helps to highlight different approaches and experiences. It’s also nice to meet many of them for the first-time face to face too!”
