Chief Financial Officer
Having spent the first part of my career working as a Client Manager in an accountancy practice, I decided to take the leap into ‘Industry’ in 2013.
I joined one of the biggest breakfast cereal manufacturers in the country and loved getting involved with the cut and thrust of commerce.
Having advanced to the role of Finance Director, I couldn’t resist the temptation of combining a finance role with working in a business sector I knew well, and joined DJH Mitten Clarke as Chief Financial Officer – an accountant for the accountants
What makes DJH Mitten Clarke great is…
I love the people first approach of the business – the greatest asset of the company is the fantastic team here. And because of the training, development and care that is invested in the people, they can provide a fantastic experience to our clients.
My most trusted piece of advice in business is…
I think the Steve Jobs quote is great – “It doesn’t make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.” Couldn’t be more true.
On a Saturday morning, you’ll usually find me…
It’s an early start to walk the dog, then limbering up for a game of 5-a-side football. The rest of the morning is normally spent planning out what food I’ll be dishing up for my family for the rest of the weekend!
