Sarah Atkinson
Client Manager, Leeds
I always wanted to work in accountancy, and began my journey by studying at university in 2006.
As part of my degree, I began working in a one-partner firm and continued there until I gained the ACCA qualification. Starting my career at an independent firm meant I had a hands-on role from day one, working directly with the Managing Partner. This allowed me to gain a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience across a range of areas including statutory accounts and taxation.
I joined a bigger firm in 2006, which allowed me to continue to develop my skills and work with larger clients across accounts, tax and audit and business support. During this time, I have developed strong working relationships with clients which helps me to continue to provide the best possible service at DJH Mitten Clarke.
What makes DJH Mitten Clarke great is…
The team-we all support each other to make sure we provide the best possible service for our clients.
My most trusted piece of advice in business is…
Don’t be afraid to ask questions – people are always happy to help and support you and your business.
On a Saturday morning you’ll usually find me…
At the park with my daughter.
